Welcome to Holiday Movers. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services. By visiting our website or booking any of our moving services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
1. Definitions
- “Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to Holiday Movers, a Canada-based moving service provider.
- “Client”, “Customer”, “You”, or “Your” refers to any user of our website or services.
2. Services
We offer moving and relocation services including but not limited to:
- Household Moving
- Commercial Moving
- Packing and Unpacking
- Specialized Moving
- Junk Removal
- Storage and Transportation
All services are subject to availability and serviceable areas within Canada.
3. Bookings & Quotes
- Quotes provided are non-binding estimates based on the information you provide.
- Final charges may vary depending on actual volume, weight, time, distance, or unforeseen circumstances.
All bookings must be confirmed via email or phone, and are subject to availability.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due as per the terms agreed at the time of booking.
- We accept various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and e-transfers.
- Late payments may incur additional fees or interest as per applicable laws.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule your move by giving us at least 48 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any service due to weather, safety, or operational issues.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when requesting a quote or booking.
- Ensure that all items to be moved are packed securely or inform us if packing services are needed.
- Be present or have a responsible party onsite during the move.
- Inform us in advance of any heavy, fragile, or specialty items.
7. Limitations of Liability
- Holiday Movers is not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g., traffic, weather).
- We are not responsible for damage to items not packed by us, unless due to proven negligence.
- Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the lesser of the item’s depreciated value or $100 per item, unless a higher valuation has been declared in writing before the move.
8. Insurance
We maintain standard cargo and liability insurance. Additional coverage can be arranged upon request prior to the move.
9. Use of Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website for any misuse, including but not limited to:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access
- Transmitting harmful or malicious content
- Using automated systems to collect data without permission
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including logos, text, graphics, and images, is the property of Holiday Movers and is protected by Canadian copyright laws. You may not reuse or reproduce any content without our written consent.
11. Privacy Policy
Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our site or services, you consent to our data collection and handling practices as described therein.
12. Dispute Resolution
In case of any dispute, we encourage amicable resolution. If that is not possible:
- The dispute will be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
- Any legal action must be brought in the courts located in Ontario.

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updates will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately upon posting.
